We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technical SEO Manager with extensive CMS expertise, particularly in WordPress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising our website’s technical aspects to enhance search engine rankings, user experience, and overall website performance. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles, hands-on experience with WordPress, and the ability to create, manage, and optimise web pages effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical SEO:

    • Conduct thorough technical SEO audits and implement necessary improvements.
    • Optimise website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies.
    • Ensure website speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall performance are optimised for SEO.
    • Manage and monitor crawl errors, indexation issues, and other technical SEO challenges.
    • Implement schema markup and other advanced SEO techniques.

    Content Management System:

    • Create, manage, and update web pages using WordPress.
    • Customise WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and SEO performance.
    • Ensure content is optimized for SEO, including meta tags, alt text, and keyword usage.

    Analytics and Reporting:

    • Utilise tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software to monitor performance.
    • Generate and analyse reports on website traffic, rankings, and other key metrics.

    Collaboration and Strategy:

    • Work closely with design and technology to align SEO strategies with overall business goals.
    • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years, proven experience as a Technical SEO Manager or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, including plugin management.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Desirable

  • Experience with other CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of server-side SEO issues and solutions.
  • Familiarity with local SEO and international SEO strategies
